scooby exhaust
#1
I have a my 97 with standard twin tailpipe exhaust my question is :I seem to have a lot of torque in higher gears expecially fifth gear, will changing my centre and back section to a scoobysport exhaust in anyway reduce this high end torque. I have read many quotes which proclaim a scooby exhaust increases low end torque but decreases high end torque.

I went from a Prodrive bb to a Scoobysport...I found it BETTER at the higher rpm ranges.
I cannot say if the torque levels have dropped as I havnt been on the 'rollers' since, but my 'bum dyno' tells me that tings is good
Some may think that I am shooting myself in the foot as I am selling (contemplating), a Prodrive bb, with this post singing the virtues of a S/S bb over a Prodrive I may lose my potential sale!
Well, it is less restrictive but quite a bit louder, good for some but not for others.
Cheers, MD.
