Getting limiter removed

My Sport limits at 5500rpm which is crxp how can I get the limiter removed is this manged by the ECU, I assume it is, in that case will I have to replace it with a better one?

Limiter is managed by ECU. On some cars it can be reprogrammed, but generally the limiter is placed after peak power, and unless you did major work to your engine you would not gain much by raising it and would wear your engine quicker. 5500 sounds low though?

I'm sure it was running higher when I had the standard exhaust on, I have now had a Magnex but on and the car does seem slower

Without first doing any valve work you shouldn't rev your car past or into redline.
