Hi another question
how good are the sti version 3 pistons when compared
to aftermarket pistons like JE, cosworth or wiseco etc
also who acually makes the sti piston ( id be surprised if its STI themselves)
most japanese out source??

Hi, Not sure about STI3, but Id guess they are all pretty much the same. The STI4 ones I am using do seem to be of very high quality. After all, they would need to be when they are a factory item. Only ones I have to compare to are cosworth pistons, which are again very high quality. Depends on what you are after. I doubt that there will be much difference between the two types, although the cosworth pistons do have smaller skirts, and are a bit lighter.

Do STI V2 have forged pistons, i was told some do but not all, how could i find out if mine has???
