Question

Hello people, i recently got a magnex exhaust system from the cat back. firstly would this hav given the car any extra power, or does the main power increase happen when the cats are removed?? now the next obvious engine mod is a good quality induction kit. what do you recommend, baring in mind value for money???!

any help is appreciated!!

K&N have a long life and can be recleaned & oiled may times. And have an increadible flow increase compared to the standard filter.

Have put a blitz sus ind kit on mine and seems fine.Is dry type needing no oil so no probs of oil seeping into afm, also was going to put dump valve on until talking to people who had exp fuelling probs. But with the blitz you can hear the standard subaru d/valve as if it was an aftermarker one, with no sensor or fuelling upsets.

Hi Dunc
I fitted a K&N kit and can't fault it.

Why have u left the centre cat in? get rid of it!

Not too loud - u can hear the dump valve sneezing and it makes a sucking sound! I couldn't live without it now...
I got rid of the centre cat and it sailed through an mot!
What you need now is a dawes device for a bit more power :-)
