Intercooler Shield Question
#1
Just wondered how many of you are running Intercooler Shields?
I'm particularly curious about the state the Intercooler fins on cars who's engines have gone pop. I'm wondering if over a period of time some intercoolers get damaged to a point where heat exchange is reduced enough to mean that at high revs/prolonged speed runs the engine can overheat.

A few peeps on here believe that the shield itself can cause significant air flow restriction.

The sheild will restrict the airflow to the I/C.
It might be worth getting a scoop splitter to help counter this restriction, if you really have to run one of these protectors.
I have a PE protector lying around somewhere, if anyone wants to buy one for less than the silly monet they seem to be new.
