has anyone there (especially with a type-r), who has had the problem 3,4,5 gear, of the car jolting when the throttle is pressed...ie stopping, starting when you let the foot off etc

Hmmmmm more info needed here, does your car have any modifications like a full decat?
is this stopping quite violent?
if it is it sounds like overboosting to me (3/4/5th gear)
