Question

Does anybody have this fitted or any other up/downpipe with the PPP conversion?
Any gains/recommendations?

Didn't know Prodrive made a downpipe although one was rumoured for the STi PPP.

Not sure about it either, hoped someone could enlighten me. Anybody else with PPP mated the conversion with another up/downpipe?

What MY car? MY01 and greater would need both up and downpipe doing together. PreMY01 - loads of people run full decat systems - almost all have no problems and plenty of power gain.

Lots of people have put a downpipe on with the MY99/00 PPP including myself and it works well although sometimes you have to rebore the restrictor to 1.3mm from the original 1.2 mm if it overboosts - boost gauge recommended if you don't already have one.

On the MY01 and after Scoobysport found that the ignition timing was a bit retarded with the downpipe without the uppipe replacement, but I did not see this when I logged a MY01 with PPP and only a downpipe. Might only occur in certain situations, but the uppipe is well worth getting as well even if it is a bit of a big job to fit - can do both uppipe and downpipe at the same time - takes a few hours. Whilst you were at it you could change the turbo if you felt naughty
