Default Help Dccd ty752vb4ca flashing green light

I have 96 sti ra v limited today the light has started flashing on speedo can anyone help I on the ignition it go to orange and start flashing green. Any info would be greatly appreciated

could be a plethora of things..... try the neutral posistion switch first though, i had a very costly bill from API to get my light to stop blinking

The most common reason for a flashing green light is a broken wire under the top plate where the two wires enter the gearbox. The easiest way to check this is to unplug the connector on the wires coming from the top plate of the box and use a multi meter to check for a circuit. The diff is basically a big coil and you should have a circuit across the two cables.

Hi guys just to update I be managed to find the problem ,, it was the Dccd ecu at fault my question is if anyone can give any advice,, for the classic Dccd ecu come as sti a , sti b , sti c, I've found out the sti a is for 1995-1996 sti b 1997-1998 sti c 1999-2000 ,,however Will these cause any damage as they do work as normal on my v2 ,, I have seen some for sale saying one fits various models plugs are same aswell

could you fit an after market dccd controller ?
just wondered if it was cheaper and easier.

Don't know about that maybe plugs want changing or wiring harness & because it's wired into clocks for the after market ,,for the oem I have it working as normal but unsure if this will cause any problems as it is from the later model with Dccd??
