Just trying to get a general idea on this:

What is your dealer's stance on warranty validity when you have a non-Subaru exhaust + panel filter fitted? Is there a standard IM line regarding this?

Cheers (C'mon England )

I asked this same question and I was told by the dealers...

any item you change is obviously not covered under warrenty unless its bought from Subaru (ie a Prodrive Exhaust)

Apparantly they can be a bit funny if the new part could of caused the damage you are claiming for.. so say Turbo goes after you fit a Dump Valve and Big Exhaust? or your Factory Head Unit went after you re-wired the speakers etc.

Sounds fair enough, depends how far they stretch the 'could' have caused the damage I suppose...

Wink

Take the parts off before you return the car to the dealers
