Clutch Judder
#1
I own a MY00 which is just over 2 years old.
I have begun to experience clutch judder when cold (for about the first mile or so )
My question is could i get anything done under warrenty ????
As i dont want the dealer to remove gearbox etc and then say no warrenty claim and hit me with a bill

Ignore it I would say. Mine does it, has done for 18 months. It is not getting any worse, only when cold.
Whatever, I thought it was only if you had a Warranty Holdings type warranty that they charged you if they could not find the problem If you can get the dealer to feel it when it is cold they will either take on the claim, or more likely tell you "they all do that" if it goes away when hot. It can be a bit of a problem very occasionally pulling out of a junction as you have to back off and dip the clutch and try again to make it go properly.
Some ended up with P1 type clutches, but some found they still judder too.

Yep, mine's done it off and on for nearly 30000 miles now (MY00, 38k on the clock). Does it mainly when cold and wet, always goes after a few minutes, so I don't worry about it any more.

Yeah, I've got a 00MY that has got clutch judder when cold. I'm glad i read this because i was getting a bit worried. (I had a clutch let go in quite a big way on my Legacy turbo.)
As most of you have said it seems to go away when it's hot!!
