Quick question on cv joints, roughly how many miles should one last before starting to wear out?

I've just had my fronts done ( inners I believe) on my 05 blob wagon 114000 miles. Ones from the factory last 10 years I've been told. Ones from ebay are sometimes bad fitting (rich from fb tuning informed me) I got mine from import car parts and was told material not as good as OEM parts so my guess is may be five years tops
