Twice today after going round left hand bends with a downhill slope the engine has started to "hunt" and struggle and then die.
The second time I stpped before it died and tried to rev the engine but it gave out some grey/black smoke then died.
Waited a few minutes and it restarted and ran fine to get me home.
So any ideas - it gets serviced on Wednesday so do I need tranquilliser for the bill or what?
Water temp was about 85C and boost just on if that helps. But a series of up hill bends to my house did not produce a problem !

chris,
it couldn't be something as simple as fuel starvation, could it?
the way the fuel swills round the tank in the tank in these things when less than a quarter full causes all sorts of probs.
