This normal for an OEM clutch?
Hi guys
First off, let me just make this clear.. I do not regularly launch my car nor do I drive it like a bellend everywhere..
On the way back from the supermarket this evening I was sat at a set of lights waiting to join a stretch of 60mph dual carriageway when a middle aged driver pulled up aside and surprisingly gave a positive comment about the car and asked how it sounded under load? So I thought 'oh why not', rolled forward in first up to 15mph on green before putting my foot down and then changed to second at high revs, during the process of the gear change there was quite a judder before it then pulled again in gear, I had the car near 60 by this point so just went up through the gears and sat at 60.
My question is, is this normal on a 53 plate WRX? only modifications so far are a cat back exhaust. Clutch has no slipping and seems to function as it should, the gearbox is also smooth and neither have given me any issues or any reason to think they need to be replaced so I'm left wondering whether this is just a trait of the OEM clutch

Almost feels like it misses? mine jults between changes, but only when going at it hard like you said.
Where does your clutch engage? mine is right at the top of the pedal.

Yea it just doesnt seem to engage properly and leaves my gear changes quite juddery, clutch engages quite high but Hammonds Subaru done a full check on the car and road test and said it was normal...never had it on a car before but then never owned a scoob before
