Dipsy is right, the diff needs a SAE90 LSD oil, like the Fuchs Titan Race Gear 90LS, Shell TS90, Castrol Axle Z or Motul 90PA.

My MY07 Sti Spec C didn't like 75/90 in the rear. It's best with Silkolene BO90LS

Yes, that diff needs a LS oil, the Castrol Universal 75w-90 doesn't have LSD additives.

Cheers

I'd probably go for the Fuchs Race Gear 90LS as it's probably the best proven of the ones I mentioned and as it only takes 0.8L.

Cheers

Did the Castrol universial 75/90 in the rear of the 05 Jdm Sti just seemed louder then changed to silkolene bo90ls like yourself very quiet now.

Rear diff holds more like 1.0 for Sti and 0.8 for wrx a litre that's level with thread on top fill plug hole not through temp plug hole
