Vibration under load (but not when clutch slipped?)
Hi All,
Bought an 02 bugeye WRX yesterday and although I am pleased to be back in a Wagon (!) there is a slight but noticeable vibration through the car when accelerating hard. I drove it 30 miles home and it was more obvious at the end of the journey but much less so when cold. It also does not do it if the clutch is slipped.
Car has 100k on it and is due the next (cambelt) service but has a full MD history. Previous owner thought it was a new clutch on old fly and pressure plate?
It also has a non-standard back box with quite a rumble and I am wondering if this is actually a resonance issue?
Any help much appreciated!
