Are there any garages the will either:

Allow me to supply parts, so I shall pay for labour only.

Or can fit the parts AND supply decent parts (exedy clutches, decent flywheels) etc. at a competitive price.

Herts/North London location preffered. I'm struggling to find somewhere!

You won't be able to beat buying your bits from a mail order specialist (such as us ) and having the bits fitted.

Very rare nowadays for any garage to turn away customers wanting to use their own bits.

Clutch/flywheel can be fitted by any competent mechanic and we have a few we can recommend on our books.

We have some ridiculous deals on clutches/flywheels, based in Letchworth if you need to collect, otherwise we deliver next day

You'd be surprised though, all the local garages to me wont fit parts they dont supply.

 

Have sent over an email, shall see what they say.

 

At APi we don't have a problem fitting parts that you bring with you, We make sure you understand that if the parts prove to be wrong or faulty it is not something that we would be responsible for. If it needs doing twice then we charge twice [ probably also supplying quality parts at the same time ]

Our [ like any garage's] hourly rate costings are worked out on receiving some discount from the makers that we keep as profit. The labour charges usually reflect the costs of staff, rent. electric, etc, etc.

So we charge a higher hourly rate for fitting customers own parts.

We also say that our hourly rate is £48.00 + VAT.

If you stand at our side and watch, we charge £58.00 + VAT

If you help it costs £68.00 + VAT
