Unhappy

I've got a leak in my air-con. I've had it pressure tested by an independent specialist recommended by K T Green, but he's taking too long to get back to me for re-gassing, leak tracing and repair (just too busy).

I want to get if fixed NOW while it's still summer! Anyone have any recommendations, preferably near Bradford so I can reach them while at work?

Cheers,

Steve

Give R N Golden a bell in Huddersfield. Speak to Andy.

Failing that, there's an independent A/C service centre on the A650/A61 junction in outwood, Wakefield. I.M Mellor I think.

Cheers, although I was hoping for someone more local to Bradford. I'll hit the yellow pages tomorrow...

Let me know if you have any luck. I am often in Bradford and need to get a new condensor fitted for mine - have been putting it off and as it seems to be getting warmer I should really do something about it.

Cheers

It's going to B.T Refrigeration in Bradford next week, I'll let you know how I get on.

Well, they seemed to know their stuff and were pretty cheap - just under £60 inc VAT for a pressure test and regas. Couldn't find any leaks, so I've got to keep an eye on it, but there's uv dye in the system now to help find any leaks in the future.

The guys like their cars too, were chatting away about scoobs and also a rather nice 20v Quattro which was in.

They are on Nelson Street nr Bradford Interchange, tel 01274 727777.

Cheers,

Steve

Question

How on earth did you manage that? "Can you come out and help me, my air-con has failed and it's just sunny for me to continue muy journey without it..."

Well, this is a great endorsement for KT Green's recommended specialist, isn't it?
