Me and a mate both used them for our 1k services...
They put it the WRONG grade of oil

If I hadn't asked them what oil was used, I wouldnt have known about it & our cars would have done several thousand miles with cooking oil in the engines...well thats what it looked like when I had it changed again

They used a Castrol SLX? or something that is 0W/30 grade !!!!
They wouldn't beleive me when I tried to tell them they were wrong, so I drove very steadily to TSL and paid them to put me some decent oil in..Silkolene 10W/50, excellent oil!

I believe they are now aware of their mistake after another scoobynetter faxed them a copy of a bulletin from IM's technical dept. And are now using a different oil - but don't know what?
I didn't receive a refund from them...

Use them at your own risk...

Also,Monty's charged me the same price for their cooking oil as what TSL charged me for TOP QUALITY oil !

And Monty's don't know the correct tyre pressures on scoobs... they set mine and my mates to 28psi all round...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !

I love Monty's...NOT!

just phoned them to check what oil they will be using, the service guy said "fully synthetic, 10 / 40" so looks like they took note.

PECCY .... No problems a good bunch

I've used this company many times and i can't fault them, as regards your oil, Castrol SLX is one of the best oil's money can buy and if used from new you have no problems with this product.
I have many years involvement in motorsport and a few with racing the old scooby and we always used a 0W-30 oil it's the only one at those temps.

Normally your local Subaru dealer will not entertain imports or you have to pay over the odds, i've had a few problems with my rex and these guys have been the tops, more than willing to help. Also they don't top the service price, you get charged the same as a uk car.
