Default 2.5 short block costs

My first track day ended earlier than I was expecting so I'm now looking for costs for a 2.5 short block that will be capable of 500bhp / 450ft/lbs.
Not sure if this would need just forged pistons or both pistons and rods so guidance is needed
Cheers

You will need both and at that sort of power level, in some cases is beyond the limit of the block

I have a brand new block in stock, that was going on my car but project cut short https://www.scoobynet.com/858099-bre...inished-3.html

I also have the pistons but the rods have gone .

A 2.5 should give you power in the reverse to what you have stated. You will achieve more torque than hp with a 2.5
