API, BEER and Subaru's
Carlsberg don’t tune Subaru’s ...Well they do just they go under the name API in Warwickshire!
I have taken my wife’s UK300 to API last week for a service, replacement Turbo, ported headers and remapping.
(Sorry to Harvey for not using his services after some great advice but David came up with the right solution for the UK300 at a sensible price)
The results from the car are very, very good, we now have the spool we wanted, fast response and a car that goes a lot better than previously has ever done despite having spent many thousands of pounds at another tuning shop locally that like to think they are Impreza specialists!
David is a very knowledgeable man and also understands that most of us have a budget for work to be done and therefore in our case managed to do the work arranged within our budget parameters despite finding additional things that needed fixing. The technicians there are all really pleasant with great humour and very polite, the work speaking for itself.
The man is a gentleman and explained before we left what we needed to get done ASAP (Un noticed to me inner tyre wear) and the cause of braking vibration - a breaking down wheel bearing, which had not been diagnosed by the other local tuning outfit. Needless to say we will be going back now having fixed the Yokahama Parada 2 to have the wheel bearing fixed now as soon as possible.
I will go to API for my works on both of our Imprezas as the work is first rate, no waffle and bull and understanding of cost control! All of my parts removed were made available to me so I was doubly sure that the right works had been done and why.
Absolutely Top score, keep up the great work
Kind Regards
