Yeah,
A & J Whytes are OK, but only OK. They do the standard service stuff properly, but if you've any extra niggles make sure they write them down and then turn up an hour before closing to collect your car to ensure they've done all you asked and if not can put it right there and then!.
Enjoy the courtesy Clio as well!!! Yuk!
Regards,
tiggers.

555 Boy,
Why don't you try Gibson's Of Brock, they are in Preston. They used to be a Subaru dealership but now concentrate on Euro Imports. They can be found on the SIDC website links page. Can't say whether they are any good though as I've never used them.
Today I booked my car in at Midgeley Motor Cars in Skipton for it's 18 month service on 2/3/2002.
p.s. You could also enquire about your favourite topic - DUMPVALVES!! LOL!!!
Damian.

Max,
Unfortunately it's a my01 so I've got to keep the warrenty intact, but I'll certainly keep a copy of his number for future use, cheers.
Tiggers,
Cheers for the comments,I'll bear them in mind, would I be right in saying that they sound like a typical average garage setup?
Spen555,

got mine 6 months ago & needed full service recently, in comparison to other dealers had good experiences with Whites. V. helpful & happy to do any specific reauests (within reason!).
only niggles, they have some kind of contract with an oil company so only use non synthetic stuff, same as on stock cars. They are happy to put other stuff in so long as you supply your own.
Also car smells of burning oil now when driven reasonably hard. Think they must have spilt some on manifold.
Apart from that, fine, oh and if you dont mind having a clio for the day, look out for no performance or ABS.
