Just booked my service in @ Goldens in Huddersfield, Quoted £422 Inc Vat this seems alot? Is this about right. Car has only done 24k on a "V" reg

which service according to the book ?

Is it the one with the cam belt ? - If not sounds quite high - I have V reg and done 33k my next one is 30 months (not cam belt) and am expecting £120 for the oil change when I know I can do it for 50 quid.

If it is for the belt then that doesnt sound too bad (i think !).

I dont know whats included, do i really need a Cam belt after 24k miles. I think ill just have the normal service without the cam belt. I thought cam belts could last up to 50k miles?

check in your service book,it's got all the service schedules just before the stamps.30k service has plugs,all filters,all lubes,bake fluid & coolant. big service 3.2 hours!!!!!! any problems give me a call.pete @ listers 01905 640512

Thanks Pete, I checked the book and i am due 30k service so i wont need the camshaft belt and hopefully it wont be as expensive.
