Default Halfords Tools

I'd been looking to buy a new tool set and a couple of people pointed me in the direction of the Halfords proffesional sets. They normally retail for £149 but had £50 off. Checked the price and availability on Tuesday, so imagine my surprise when today on arrival in the shop the price is back up to £149. I wish they put offer closing dates up on the internet.

Going to look at Clarke tool sets now

Mark

Don't forget that the Halfords set have lifetime guarantees though - I've lost count how many times I've busted my 1/4" drive adaptor and swapped it for a new one

I spent £500 on halfords professional tools. They have been excellent in the 3 years I have had them. Any that have broken admittedly from my own abuse have been replaced without any quibble or cost.

Go for halfords mate, they are made by Sykes Pickavant and are far better quality tht the clarke stuff!!

If you can, wait for a bit. Halfords are always doing the £50 off deal, and the tools are excellent.

I've had KAMASA Tools since the 1970's they are still amazing - faultless, 30 years of use and pristine.

But, I do look after my tools impeccably

I rebuilt my entire 205 with a Halfords Pro socket set and they have been faultless - I couldn't have done half the jobs without that set.

For the money, the Halfords professional tools are very, very good.

After about 4 years of very hard use,all 3 of my ratchets were knackered purely down to me using extension bars on them to undo wheel nuts etc when I shouldn't have been.

Took them back to halfords and they replaced all 3 ratchets for brand new ones without questions

I've had the kit for around 8 years now and it's still going strong, can't go wrong for £99

Bought the 150 piece about 2 1/2 years ago.. have completely rebilt my land rover using them, done many things on the imprez and spent today changing timing belt on a diesel pug an all. Its worth spending £15 on one of their breaker bars an all.. not had a bolt i couldn't undo with that lot
