Olympian are service only now, new dealer being announced next year I heard from somewhere.
They put a big dent in my passenger door, didn't stamp book, guessed the tread depths etc etc, muppet dealer.
Spar****ts in Soton just as bad if not worse.
If it's main dealer you want try Webbers in Basingstoke, Simpsons in Swindon or Proven Motors in Surrey.
Or Subaru4you in Newbury, Triton at Hurn Airport for non franchised.

Agree, I trust them to service my Legacy and that's an expensive car to let an independant touch.

Ah, Trooper, hello there, why not try Vale motors, I believe they are in Wincanton, number 0196334034 when I had my scoobs I always used their Yeovil dealer, but this branch is now shut.
Top new manager for the saints BTW

Is'nt there a new legal ruling now that main dealers can no longer hold you to ransome over service/warranty? speak to john at Triton i had this conversation with him and i'm sure this is the case ,you still have to follow the service guide to keep the warranty valid but can use independant.

I'm sure you're right Mike, as far as i'm aware, so long as Subaur parts are used, filters etc... there is no difficulty with warranty.....
Triton would get my vote if i didn't di it all myself...
Trooper, we have a Dorset meet 2nd Jan if you wanna come along, check out the southern forum for details!

You can only use an independant if your car was manufactured after a certain date. I have seen a post on here somewhere with the dates, Sept 04 rings a bell?
Mine's a November 04 so I use Triton for scheduled servicing and probably Olympian for the recall that I got through the post, but I'll wait while it's done.
Trooper, if you do get it done locally make sure you get a check sheet that they sign showing the car was dent/scratch free before they started work, check the oil level after, also check the oil quality, check the filter has been changed and take note of your mileage.
Ask that they park your car away from the general public after they have finished it, don't let them park it with all the ***** buying spare parts for their ****box french crap.
My immaculate (hand washed the day before) 27k Legacy, was left on the forecourt amongst all the ****boxes, got dented and it took 3 months of wrangling to get it repaired. (also means that my car has had paint, great when it gets picked up on an inspection if I sell it)
If you have any issues with them go straight back, ask for the service/general manager (Ian I think), be firm, polite and take no ****!
Don't complain to any of the gimps on the desk, they have no authority/interest/brains and will probaly have left by the time you next go there anyway.
