Shicking Service from GMD
After the episode of running out of petrol 1 mile after picking up a loan car, I went back to the service dept tonite to collect my car. It was in for it's 1000 mile service & to have the PPP put on it. When I dropped it off, I asked them to look at 2 things. 1, the driver side wiper wasn't clearing away all the water. 2, To remove wax on all 4 alloys.
Went in to the service dept, asked if everything had been done? "Yes sir". Got my keys, went out side, looked at the alloys, and saw they were untouched, they still had the wax on them. So, I go back to complain, the service manager is very appologetic, goes into the workshop, and comes out and cleans the wax off my alloys. I thanked him, and got in the car.
I lifted off the paper carpet cover that they always put on (good) to be confronted by the dirtiest mat you have ever seen, I was shocked. It was covered in what looked like oil & dirt. The mats are 4 weeks old. They looked about 4 years old. By now I was fuming. I took the mat back inside, I kept my cool, remained poltite, and asked them what the hell was going on. Had it been swapped with another customers car? They took it away and cleaned it, but I'm still not happy.
Obviously some Tosser in the workshop has got it absolutely filthy, and instead of using the one brain cell he has, decided against taking it out and cleaning it. He thought no one would notice if he just then covers the mat with a paper cover ??????????????????????? ****** !!!!!!!!
What a way to treat your customers ???
There is no way I'm using this dealer again for servicing or to buy another car. I'll be taking it to another dealer from now on. I mean what a joke. They won't make any money out of me. Not even a customery car clean. Some dealers have a lot to learn about customer care. Audi are the best IMO.

cos mid way to the next service, I want a oil & filter change, and would like to know who best to take it to. I don't mind traveling too far
