Apexi mappers in East Anglia?
I missed out on the norfolk block mapping date from andy F. Scotland is too far for me to travel at the moment.
Are there any decent mappers in East of England?

You could try giving Paul at Engine Advantages a call, not sure if he's done many PowerFCs before, but they're not exactly rocket science... failing that I'm sure that Andy will be back down at some point!
Cheers,
Pat.

I wouldn't have thought they could do Apexi maps though!

Yes sorry clive atthowe does the TEK remaps but thats as far as they are willing to delve into the world of scooby mapping.
He also mapped a unichip on my old vectra GSi and did a damn fine job, but unichip not a viable choice for an impreza?

I go with what I know, I have used RC and Rod Bell and they were both poor, extremely expensive and none came close to Andy, as for you and Bob you do what you do, as to whether you're good or not i am not really bothered and furthermore i don't really care.

I wouldn't hesitate to let Paul (Pavlo) map my car, he's obviosuly closer than Andy so would be the best option if map tweaks are needed if you plan to keep 'upgrading' the car.
Either Paul or Andy will get the best out of the car.
Tony.

Tone,
Just because Pavlo is closer to do tweaks to his maps makes no difference whatsoever, It is like saying I'll do my shopping at the nearest shop because it isn't as far to take back stuff.

"maybe just maybe he could get more out of your car than Andy did ???? You just don't know!!
"
lol You probably don't know this Tony but Alan was the owner of my WRX RA before Pavlo bought it, (well he had to find out my secrets somehow )
so yes, after fitting a 2.5 high spec engine, he did indeed eventually manage to get more out of it than I did !
Andy
ps, didn't take it as a dig

Paul may Andy will.
Don't forget to buy Warbies Tone as the Tesco value is crap. It pays to go for that little bit extra

Can't comment on all the mappers here but from personal experience both AndyF and Chris (CCS) are VERY good.
After fitting a couple of upgraded parts Chris then remapped with very impressive results. And his prices and service are very good too.

IMO a trip to Andy is well worth while. I did a 550 mile round trip last year based on how impressed I was with the mapping he did on my mates car.
I'm now going back a week on Saturday (much to the distaste of my local Scooby specialist who fitted all the new bits and would have mapped it for me given chance - but hey!) but my reason is simple. Andy's mapping rocks All too often ppl fail to live up to expectations and when you find someone who can deliver what they promise it's worth going that bit further.
I can't / won't comment on any of the other mappers mentioned here but once again it's a big thumbs up for Mr F

Miracles are easy to come by, if you haven't had experience of anything else.
Mapping an engine can be very easy, if you're lucky, or it can be a pig. Sometimes you can hit the nail on the head very quickly, and if you manage this a few times you might think you have it cracked. Until the day when the pig comes along, and you're completely out of your depth. It's good to get all this out the way on your own car(s) or those that make themselves as willing victims, in order to further development.
It's very easy to get some quick and easy gains by tweaking, but it's not always appropriate.
