Subaru Proven Extended Warranty
Dear all,
My MY02 Sti Type UK comes of the 3 year warranty soon.
Should I buy Subarus extended warranty (£500 per year) or should I buy someone elses warranty or should I bank the money?
One advantae of leaving Subaru is that I can have servicing and mods done by any third party.
Any advice?
Korky

Spend it on sensible mods.
Stealer probably had enough money out of you already. Once you mod it, dealers don't know what to do with it anyway. (ie AP brake pads)
I use a specialist who I trust, and for the same money a dealer will charge for a standard service, I get oil, plugs, diff/box oil, the whole lot every 3.5k - 6mth
Which is better, that lot, or an oil change stamp in the book by an official dealer? Mine is now 4 yrs old, but was modded before warranty up so went that route almost straight away.
