Power Engineering in Uxbridge are also good. They've done a few services on mine and I've always been happy with their work.
AnG have a good rep - lots of people speak highly of them.

AnG aren't main dealer. If I had the choice of a main dealer or AnG, even if prices were the same, I'd choose AnG. A brief visit and a chat with the scoob mechanic will prob give you all the confidence you need.
The scoob mechanic at AnG has something like 8 years experience as a main dealer mechanic.
ps, I think Money was serious about the offer!

If you want a dealer to service your car, I highly recommend Cheam Motors.
A bit of a drive out, but they have been fantastic with my last two Imprezas and I will be taking my Forester there!
The loan cars are not the fastest or newest (Justys, Polos, etc) but they are in good condition and making the service cheaper than some places!

Main dealer history is generally a good sign when buying used and does help to sell a car.
You might find this interesting: Ace Acton is not a main dealer. They are not approved for warrenty work. They started when the main dealer that used to occupy that site, known as Ace Kensington, closed a couple of years ago.
Depending on how far back the service history goes with Ace it may be that the car was previously serviced by Ace Kensington. If this is the case then the guys at AnG will know about your car as the scoob mechanic at AnG was the head guy at Ace Kensington. If he ever worked on your P1, chances are he'll remember the car.
So as far as resale is concerned, any potential buyer should be more than satisfied to find that your car has been looked after by an ex-main dealer mechanic. The only difference in this case is cost. Non main dealers tend to chrage a fraction of the price of main dealers.

Sorry Dave for the late post.
Yep my old man used to run Ace Kensongton in Acton. They were going really well and serviced scoobs for years. As Slowboy says, if your car has been to Acton, more than likely dad worked on it or supervised it.
Ace Acton went under due to the owner dying. Mechanics split and dad moved to AnG which is run by him. They have continued to service scoobs.
They are not a licensed dealer, but after meetings with Subaru, it was decided they could do the work but as they werent selling Scoobs, they couldnt be named a dealer. Its bl**dy stupid as some of the Subaru dealers local give AnG their customer cars, AnG charge them, then the Subaru dealership charge their customers. lmfao.
AnG 020 8963 0333 and you want to speak to Angelos.
They do have a company car, dad uses the 1.6.lol. But if you cant get up to AnG just do what other scoob owners do and drop the car round mine, take the company car, then pick up your car next night
