Anyone used Xtreme Scoobies or Scoobytek for engine rebuild?
I am based in North London and am looking for a place not too far to rebuild the engine on my WRX STI Type-R V4 which has knackered big ends.
Anyone used either of these places for a rebuild? Or can anyone recommend a place not far from London?
Cheers.

Rebuild yes but...
Maybe not the answer you're looking for...
Xtreme Scoobies recently did me a favour and rebuilt the wifes zetec fiesta after she ran it with no oil for a month...
So business engine rebuilt yes - subaru no...
Yet I would recommend them highly as you wont find the usual " sell anything to the mug punter attitude"
Always been honest enough to say dont waste your money on that, when I might have....
They did all the work on MY02 to get it to 280'ish horses, and very nice too.
Cheers mate

as above really, have not had the cause (touch wood) to have the engine re-built, but everything I have had done to the car, from the interim services to some mild modding has been done at xtremes with great professionalism.
everyone of them there are top boys, good fun to have a chat with, and honest to boot.
I would not take my car anywhere else.
hope this helps.
