VTEC to Turbo

Hi Guys

I'm in the process of buying my first Impreza Turbo and wanted to know if there are any Subaru Specialist that any of you Essex (I'm in Brentwood) based Scooby owners can recommend.

Basically as and when I need to service, mechanically repair my car I prefer to pay for knowledge but not the badge (main dealer).

Any idea of there rates etc..
Any info that I or others reading this thread will find helpful.
Or alternatively any garages that have ripped you off!!

Xtreme Scoobies would be a good starting point. They've done the last two services on my car. Very knowledgable and good prices.

you can always pop along to the halfway house next thursday and have a chat with some fellow owners also knowelsy(extreme scoobies) is 90% of the time there!

Thanks for the offer, I think I'll wait till I have my Impreza first, never did like being the odd one out (not that I ever was!!). Although I may tuck my prelude into a corner and have a chat. What sort of time do you meet up etc?

as you may guess by my screen name i havent an impreza anymore(spec'c' soon tho ) we meet from about 6:30 the thread is in southern as we speak!

I live near chelmsford and have owed my subaru since march 04,just had zorst and green filter fitted at xtreme scoobies and thought they where very good,couldnt of been more helpful,they will be getting my buisness from now on
