Thanks to TSL
Fitted new front discs, pads and hoses all round, and it still worked out cheaper than taking it to my local dealer (despite the 230 mile round trip). Excellent service 
P.s. thanks for letting my little nephew look at the cars being serviced. He was talking about it all the way home
