Default Monks Heath Motors, Alderley

Can anyone recommend this dealership for servicing?

I know the independents are generally better but I want to keep my warranty.

Cheers.

I bought a new WRX from them a few years ago and they were very happy to sell it me. The after sales service IMO was rubbish and big problem for me is that they don't open Saturdays for service. I can highly recommend Robinsons of Rochdale.

without going into too much detail mate, I would just like to say NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want to take it to a dealer take it to Holdcrofts in Widnes or specialists Prosport in Stockport

From my Past experiences - No!

Very poor customer service - and trying to get me to replace parts that weren't required.

I paid a visit to Mainland (Holdcrofts) in Widnes, and they were very helpful.

I'll backup what the others are saying.Monks Heath is a big NO NO IMHO!!!
They're sales staff have their heads in the clouds and the after sales isn't much better either!! (I remember spending about 45mins one day waiting for the old guy Peter to get me a price on something. To say he is useless is being polite!!! lol)

Champagne drinkers with lemonade money is what I refer to them as!!

I use Holdcroft and can recommend them 100%!!

Good luck

Nick

I have used them. The people on the service desk are a bit snooty and talk down to you.

The service I had was excellent and they gave me a courtesy car (which was very nice).

Couple of warranty problems were sorted out with no hastle.

HOWEVER - If you live anywhere north or east of there, I would go to Goldens in Lepton (Huddersfield). That is a great garage.

I took my car there for its last service at the begining of the year. Was aware of the general view on this board, but could not get through to Holdcroft to book my car in (where it went previously).

Service was fine, no problems with work and were happy to arrange courtesy car for me.

I use prosport for everything else, however.

Cheers for the advice.

Still not sure what to do, have to use a dealer for the basic service but will go to Prosport for anything else.

Rochdale/Widnes is quite a long way away.

Will think about it.

When are we going to get a dealer back in Manchester!!!!!
