urgent help dent remover required
after a visit to my local b + q, and parking away from all the turkeys necks (who give door dings) i locked up and went in, after 15 mins i returned to my subaru to discover that some low life has wacked my pride and joy with a bloody trolley thus giving me a medium size dint (size is not the point) this really annoyed me, does anybody have a number who can help me who is mobile and who will get it back to looking brand new its not damaged the paint in the manchester area
has anyone had a dent removed if so how much would it be (its on my door just above the protective strip in the middle)
we all cannot drive clapped out old nissans etc
Regards
Jud

I Had about a 4 inch long dent just above the drivers front wheel, i was considering taking it to get sorted when my mate suggested i used a plunger. So i gripped it to the panel and after around a minute of trying, the dent just popped out. Its worth a try yourself before taking it somewhere where it could cost a lot of £££
There is also something you can buy yourself from Halfords, involves melting wax onto the dent with a piece of string stuck in the middle, once the wax has hardened, pull it out. Once the dent is out, melt the wax again and hey presto job complete. A plunger will cost you a fiver if that and the melting wax kit costs about £15.
Or take it to a garage for them to charge you another house mortgage.

I have the number of a guy called "The Dent Man" I will email his number when I find it. He is local to the Manchester area. I think he only does trade but I saw his van and met him outside a dealers where he was at. He only charged £50 to do two panels. From what I remember he said he could get dents out up to the size of a 2p.

Unfortunately we dont offer a mobile service in that area, we (LittleKnocks) are a family business based in the south east rather than a national franchise so I dont think I can help (unless of course you fancy a drive !) .
The results are very much down to the individual technician, I'd ask a couple of local dealers who they use for paintless dent removal & see if you can get a number. I wouldnt expect to pay anymore than £50-75 per panel.
Hope you get it sorted soon.

I think the problem is that as with any franchise there are good & bad techs so to name & shame the company name could be deemed unfair.
