Anyone recommend a body repair firm (Dartford Area)?
Hi guys,
Bit fed up at the mo as someone reversed their Discovery into the front of my scoob.
I now have a big "tow-bar" dent in the front bumper that you can fit a golf ball (or tow bar!!) in just underneath the driver's side headlight. The indicator lens underneath has been smashed and it looks like the headlight has been pushed back. They blamed the reversing sensors on the Land Rover for not being good enough! What's up with eyes and mirrors I say!
Anyhow, full blame has been admitted and I have rung my insurance company (Churchills). They have given me the name of "White House Body and Paint" on the Acorn Industrial Estate in Crayford as their nearest approved repairers.
I can use a repairer of my own choice if I wish as long as i get a quote approved first as it is a "no fault accident" and the cost will be reclaimed.
Does anyone have any recommendations or used any local repairers? I would rather the job is done well, even if it means a bit of travelling.
As a side issue, a nice person put a big dent in the drivers door a while back. Car was parked in the far corner of a supermarket car park. Came back, found dent, no note, no number, no witnesses, no CCTV. I hope to try and get this sorted out and repaired at the same time. Any idea how much this will be? The dent is about 1/2 way down the drivers door so I don't know if it can be "rolled out".
Thanks (in advance) for any advice...
Dave
