Question

As it seems to be the answer to an expanding family and my beating heart, I am looking for a Legacy GT-B estate (second hand as it seems a waste of a new car with dog hair and baby fluids aplenty). the site www.tokyocarsuk.com SEEMS quite good, but does anyone have any experience of them, or have any alternative suggestions in England? thanks in advance.

Hiya, We've had a few of these through our hands. The autos are much nicer to drive than manuals. The transition from small turbo to big turbo is much less noticeable on th auto. The manuals have a 'hole' in the uptake which is very jerky.

They are expensive to run as they drink fuel. The updated 99 on cars with the big headlamps and revised rear suspension are a better bet. and more load space.

I buy cars off the internet auctions and from Japan auctions, but I wouldn't dare buy one of these unseen. Try to find a BIMTA [British Import Motor Trade Association ] dealer who has one, they'll not be the cheapest but they are the safest.

D Hendry's in Malmesbury would be a good bet for one 01666 824369 they know their stuff and as I haven't got one to sell you I don't mind giving you their number. LOL
