Question

Just had PPP & Prodrive Springs fitted (Initial impressions VERY favourable btw ) but wondered why there wasn't any form of advertising offered anymore ie the small "Prodrive" logo decals that you used to get with the PPP on the classic. Really wanted the boot lid to say 'Subaru Impreza WRX STi Type UK Prodrive'(Is this the longest model name ever? LOL.
& one would look quite good on either side under the Subaru Technica International wording!
?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????

Thats why vinyl companies do a good trade making them for people

There are plenty in the Scoobyshop that will do it for you

Just have one that says "STEAL ME" instead?

The exhaust gives it away to the congiscenti - that'd do for me...

Why do you want to advertise to a local yobbo that your car is something special? is it not nice looking enough without advertising its fitted with performance parts as well?
I'd sooner leave as plain as possible, then only use the bhp when needed to get away from the car stealing ****** when they try to take it without my consent.
Its bad enough having to cover additional costs with the insurance company after having this fitted without giving anyone else due cause to borrow it.....

Jesus.....I think the 4 foot tall spoiler & scoop with capacity of a Barn gives more concern Re:Getting noticed for nickability than a small sticker! In any case 75% of those with Prodrive stickers don't actually have the mods from what I can gather. bit Ar*e about face that! If you get the mods you don't get the logo but if you get the logo you prob haven't got the mods!!!!
Mmmmm
Awaiting the Mike Wood reply please.
Thanks anyway Nick et al.

True= not like driving around in a bright blue scooby with a big f$%k off wing and a Bonnet vent like a parcel drop box isn't going to get noticed... let me re-think my 6" sticker desreetly saying Prodrive! next to the one that says STI and WRX.
hey i may even remove the lot and I'll become "Stealth Scooby" like a klingon Cloaking device i will dissapper from all who try to engage me!

Or was it that i spent 28k on somehting that looks the part...
Mmmm...err. now should i have got that VW passat!

Sussed it

If we replace them with Metro badges that will totally fool the little scum bags and they will leave impreza's alone I think not.....

Seriously though A few stickers is not going to make an 'appney of differance IMO.

Hey scoobypet did you say you had SPRINGS Fitted!!!!!!! I missed that bit. As far as I was aware Prodrive had not completed the spring kit for the STi!!!!!!!! The only springs avaialble when i checked "and this was last month" was the WRX kit. The springing rate for the STI is different due to the wieght, I actualy rang prodrive after being told this from the dealer, and they confirmed the spring kit hasn't completed testing and is quite different due to the STI set-up. Are you sure you have the Prodrive springs for te STI?

Why do people want to advertise ProDrive? You should be getting a nice 'Tek 3' badge made up. We all know that Prodrive remaps are conservative and their older boost clamps are very crude. A proper Tek3'd car wipes the floor with a Prodrive conversion. Thats a fact. A Nice 'Ecutek' badge would mean far more to the discerning eye than a PPP badge and doesnt advertise that you the driver have had to bend over and bite-down to get the perfomance gains.

Cooooool... Phil, ?????????
What's the ride like? Have a photo? Does it look much better? does it compremise to the general ride quality?????????
You get drift, I'm really in two minds as I did'nt want to ruin the ride for general use as its set-up spot on as it comes... But too high.

Please advise!

Thumbs up

The ride is much better [the bounce has gone]

The car corners with even more confidence

No pics yet but I parked next to a standard car on Thursday and the height difference is noticiable

Dazza, that part No is the one you need to quote (Dealer had to ask me for it as they didn't have a record of the details!).Prodrive delivered them next day! Ride hight is lower but not in a Max Power way & yes the whole ride/handling experience changes noticeably. No odd noises from back, No Bouncing, Better Cornering etc. The Springs were described on here by Mr Prodrive as Progressive & that coupled with the Geom adjustments makes for a great package IMO
