Hi All
Just going on record to thank Days of Chelmsford.
Totally proffesional outfit.
The service manager was extremely helpful and took time to explain all that had been done, and go through the half a dozen problems I had listed. With all problems sorted or being sorted by warranty.
Oh and the 10% discount for SIDC membership
Once again Thanks
Pete

Track Day Organiser
I stopped using Days about 6 months ago because of the poor service.
I was contemplating going back because I heard that they had a new Service manager and Osbornes are of course closing
Pete's problems have started me worrying again

TBH I would rather not talk about it at the moment as I havent given Days chance to sort it out and it would be unfair to them to divulge all at present.
I'd had a few ( lot ) Stella's yesterday, otherwise I would not have posted about it. But seeing somebody praise Days made me see red a little bit and I had to post my experience of them.
However bad service is one of my major gripes in life, fact is we pay for good service so we should get it. So I stand by what I put about their parts department. Who knows this may filter back to Days and they may do something about it.
To even it out a little bit. I have had very good service from their sales team and all the mechanics I have dealt with have been top notch as well.

I use days parts dept. from time to time and agree they are a lot to be desired. To be asked if an RB5 is an import is something to go by
Still, they get there in the end after a few harsh words
Had more problems with Osbournes!!!

Ive got problems with my scoob atm, waiting for Days to sort it out. They dont seem very good at returning calls / remembering who you are but I may be doing them a disservice. Will keep you posted.
One thing I will say is their parts department is totally cr@p. People walked by and ignored me for over 10 minuites the other day without saying a word. All it would have taken from them would have been to look up from their PC sreen and say 'Hi, we will be with you as soon as possible' They caught me on a mellow day otherwise I would have kicked off at them.
Word of mouth is a very powerful advertising tool, however if you dont provide the service it can come back to haunt you !
