Scooby Towers,

Hi there......

I had the following done on Friday, and can 100000000000000% recommend what Paul has done!

1) Group N exhaust system - wow what a noise!
2) BPM quick shift - super quick and smooth gear change.
3) Laser tracking done - UNBELIEVABLE difference this makes - car handles like a go kart (I have the suspension settings at 120 minutes).

The tracking/alignment is by far the best modification I have had done to a car in 20 years of driving, and I thoroughly recommend you try it - the car feels so different!

Just had the geometry set for my UK300 last Friday by TSL Nottingham. The settings were within Subaru boundaries but it lacked turn-in and was very vague in a straight line. Strangely very little tyre wear 18months/17K miles and still lots of life in the P-Zeros.

The optimisation done by TSL turns a good car into a great car, the difference it makes is unbelievable, tramlining is gone, car turns in like it is a scalextric set. This is my second Scoob (my first was an ex-Prodrive company car - owned by Trevor Stevens)so I know how they can handle, but the my MY01 version was disappointing. I was on the verge of changing it until my wife 'suggested' that £123 spent now might save £26K on a new STI.

TSL were fantastic, asking me what kind of driving I typically undertook and made the settings match accordingly. Great customer service, lots of tea. The 2 hour drive to Notts was more than compensated by the drive back. BTW if you are in the Notts area try the B1067 to Market Harborough - Potters Hill will definitely test your suspension.

Thanks to TSL - highly recommended

Unhappy

Don't you find a laser alignment costing £123 pound a little bit steep, considering that the first pot hole you run into it disalign immediately the settings?

Fair point - but I try to miss the potholes by:

Knowing where all my local potholes are!

Not had any problems so far

Wink

Right , so you just don't drive where you have never been.

Jokes apart, a normal wheel alignment costs £30 (maximum)

Well I'm now £123 worse off, but have to admit its the best £123 that I've spent on the Scoob so far
I never trusted the handling before as it felt vague on high speed corners and would tend to understeer when pushed. The difference is staggering.
When I bought the car the dealer had a local firm "set" the geometry as part of the deal (and it was more than £30 ), I now wished I could have got the money off the purchase price and got TSL to do it, it makes that much difference.
Thanks to all the guys and girls at TSL for my "new" car.

I did it differently,

I got the Prodrive settings and went to a £30 alignment.
The car is now perfect!

So the TSL alignment is just a change in adjustment then, whereas the powerstation bumpsteer mod is a physical change that wouldnt be affected by potholes etc?

Simon.
