Placed an order for 4 Toyo tyres last week, Elite said they'd reserve them and took a deposit off me. Agreed to have them fitted the following week and I'd take time off work to have them fiited.

I was supposed to have them fitted today and they told me they'd made a mistake and did not have them in stock! Asked if I could have 4 Goodyear F1s fiited at the same price as the Toyo's because they had the Goodyear's in stock and they said no. So not only have I wasted a day off work, but Elite can't even be bothered to admit they made a mistake.

Right, I had to get that off my chest, and Elite have lost a regular customer.

sounds like anyone decent would have at least split the difference with you- another example of how bad customer service loses business.

Tyres Northampon got my vote even tho Elite are much closer. They come highly recommended, and I was impressed with their efficency

I used Elite about 7 years ago when I ran around in a 300ZX TT. I ordered 18" Anteras with 235/35/18 Yoko AVS. The bill came to about 2K (when 18" were really expensive). Was quoted a 2 week delivery time. They actually took 12 weeks but got messed about all the way leading upto the delivery date. I also had to take a day off work for fitting. Vowed to never go back there again.
I have kept my promise. Their great at taking your money but crap at delivering. 0% for customer care.

I had one bad experence 6 years ago with Elite and haven't been back surprised that they haven't improved in that time yet are still in buisness?

We've used Elite for every tyre and wheel change for the last 8 years and can honestly say they have been fine. Always get good service and very prompt.

And no I dont work for them!
