Cool

I thought it should be a fixed price - £1600 including fitting? Anymore and the dealer is taking more than their share.

I thought if the dealer was fitting a "genuine" PPp kit, they would all be the same price as given to all Subaru dealers. Sounds fishy to me, are they buying in from somewhere else. Could always contact IMHO and find out the correct going price. As the dealer price is the fitted price, so what I was told when mine was fitted.

Cool

for an 02 WRX it should be 1600 beer tokens - this is a fixed price for all dealers from Subaru UK and includes VAT, fitting etc - any more indicates the dealer is on the make IMHO or trying to charge you for and STi PPP (£1995 all in)

If only I'd got enough to have it done...

PS it's a standard kit of Prodrive / Subaru supplied parts so shouldn't be using parts of "varying quality" / other sources.

Does the price vary between PPPs for different models?

Yes, price varies between models...
  • <1998 - no longer available
  • 1999-2000 list price was £2000 but can now be had at a discount at many dealers £1500-1600 but you need to deliver the car yourself to Prodrive in Warwick.
  • >2001 WRX £1600 list price
  • Sti7/8 - £2000 (I think)
