I have an Euro UK Spec'd, obviously I'm going to have it dealer serviced as recommended in the Handbook. Although I'd like to have extra oil changes every 4 or 5k to further protect the engine. I will either do this myself, or ask a trained mechanic (mate) to do it.

The extra oil change will be far cheaper than taking to a Subaru dealer, but does anybody know if this will affect the warranty?

 

If you use Subaru filters, and a decent oil, maybe even the same one as the dealer, who would ever know?
