Took RB5 to Days of Chelmsford cos front windows don't seat properly when wound up (have to open the door).
Even though booked well in advance, courtesy car wasn't available as requested, so had to wait ages for one to be found.
Got car back in the evening to find windows still not working properly and both switch housings on the front doors loose. :C
Took car back the following week (earliest chance) and waited an
hour and a half (half an hour of which turned out to be morning tea break) before being told that the window fault could not be cured as it was a known fault with scoobs due to lack of door frame! :C
If it's a known fault why did they charge me the first time for something they can do nothing about?
Needless to say I won't be going back for the servicing.
Anyone else suffered poor service at Days?

Is the dealership in Colchester any good?

Whats the problem your having with the windows?? I had problems with not shutting tightly when you opened then closed them whilst moving. The guys in colchester sorted that for me.

Thumbs up

Yup, that's the problem in a nutshell. I'll try Colchester .

Still annoyed that Chelmsford charged on first attempt and on second attempt said it was a known (non fixable) problem .

Anyway, thanks.

From what I was told its an adjustment they can make to the window tensioners. I've had nothing but trouble from the drivers side window but it seems to ok now.

Not been back since they fitted a rusty oil filter which split, spewing my engine oil out. Garage who replaced filter (witnessing the bubbles of rust - and split near the top) were surprised. Lot of trouble getting any refund.
Not impressed.
