Talking

Since I had overboost probs and had a new turbo, its been boosting too high etc, reset the ECU too and caused hunting at idle.

Anyway, Merv and PE used the car at the EcuTek open day so I sent him a mail. He was very VERY helpful in getting to the bottom of the problem but still wasn't fixed

Anyhow, I was passing PE today and popped in. Merv was extremely helpful, sorted the boost out by enlarging my restrictor, and then diagnosed the hunting idle as a very knackered MAF (eg, left much longer could have resulted in dead car ). He gave me a new sensor which I fitted and the problem went away immediately. The car is now boosting and behaving impeccably.

Would just like to say a big BIG thanks to Merv for doing that, and taking the time out with the Select Monitor when I had just popped in unannounced. You are a proper gentleman sir
