Question

Can anyone tell me if the price of approx £1527 for the Prodrive/ Alcon brake conversion is the price fitted or is it just for the hardware. If it is just for the hardware, what are the fitting costs and is there any reason why a Subaru dealer would not fit them to an STI 5.

CW.

The price would be for the hardware only, but including VAT. Fitting would be extra, but I'm sure I read that the recommended fitting time was 1 hour, so it wouldn't be much more expensive to have them fitted.

They need 17 inch wheels to clear the big discs fitted, so they won't fit an STi V, unless you have upgraded your wheels.

Subaru dealers won't do any work on grey import cars, which I guess would include selling/fitting these brakes to an STi V.
