I was wondering if it is possible to get Cruise control on an Impreza Turbo.
This may sound like sacriledge, but I may be getting a turbo soon, to replace my current sport, and don't really like speeding tickets.
If it is available, does it have to be fitted in the factory, or can it be added later.
Anything else I should know about the current model turbo? I know there were some problems with the STiV.

I looked at this a few months ago. Subaru discontinued their optional extra cruise control because of complaints about its jerky operation, apparently due to the car being so responsive and powerful. The only other option I could find is made by Laserline and is operated by a remote infra-red control which is clipped to the steering wheel rim. I didn't like the sound of that in case the remote got in the way so didn't go any further to find out the cost or whether it worked smoothly. Maybe somebody else has some experience of it.Cheers.
