I have just bought a 95 STi 555 Jap import. Can anybody tell me where the nearest and best place to take my car for the above. I live near junction 6 on M25. I had car checked over before buying but was advised to have engine tuned also checking to find out if there are any faults, also what bhp its pushing out!!!!!!

...mate of mine said he took his Jap WRX to a place near Aldershot (i think). Might even be called 'Jap Performance' or something. Sorry, bit vague. :-)

The place in aldershot is called Tuning Japanese, but i would strongly recommend going to Power Engineering in uxbridge and getting a rr diagnostics session with Merv, had mine done their, and a subsequent chip, and more rr sessions, and they really know their stuff

Thanks for the advice, I spoke to Power Engineering today about a diagnostic check and tune up £125 + parts + vat, not as bad as I thought it would be, mind you they could be saving me 2grand on a engine rebuild !!
