My 45,000 service is coming up for my UK MY99 does anyone have any recommendations of where to take it. Is it worth a trip up to Scoobysport or Power Engineering because I also need my geometry checked and have few problems that I need checking out. Does any know what the rough cost of the 45000 mile service is?

I had the 45k service on my MY99 done 6 mths ago at Lancasters in Sevenoaks (Kent). It cost around £450 which seems to be around the going rate - in the South East anyway. They did it well and sorted out a couple of warrenty problems as well. I did ring round a lot of dealers and there was one in Reigate (sorry, can't remember the details) that was at least £50 cheaper and may be close enough to you.

My Type R is now due for its 45K service.

I called Scoobysport, they charge £380 inc VAT, Power Engineering charge £664 inc VAT and I also contacted TSL because I might have the geometry sorted out on my car as I have small prob needs sorting and they charge £350 + VAT.
