I'm very happy because I'm the ecstatic new owner of a cool grey WRX STI.........for only ONE week !
I feel so smug.
It's a version 5, registered on July 17 2000 in Cypress.
It was an an impulse buy - I was going for another Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo LE or Plus !
I was wondering where is the best place is to service it close to Bristol ?
I've got it booked into Interpro for a 30k service in a couple of weeks but wondered if there is a scooby specialist near Bristol.
Your help would be most appreciated.

Hi robbie, try david hendry in malmsbury about 30mins from bristol,they sell and service imports.

thanks jonny........arranged a 30k mile service with David Hendry today, although I didn't like hearing that the STi is prone to blowing it's engine because of the lack of oil pressure the standard oil pump can give, and that it loses it's fifth gear ?
They reckon their £500 fit of a new oil pump prevents any major (a mere £3k) engine rebuilds !
I guess they are the experts !
