stephen may I ask you to elaborate on your dilema?

What was the
Some interesting exhaust fitment technique
What sort of problems did they find with the exhaust and/or fitment?

I have my 01 booked in for a de cat tomorrow and would like to know what to look out for when I collect my car.

Many thanks

Brian S

I take it TSL fitted your exhaust de cat for you?

Sorry, you posted the answer as I was typing my post.

Didnt think TSL would have done anything wrong to you car.
Your right not to mention who did fit it,some people can get a little annoyed if you did.

regards,

Brian s

Yes we didn't fit it.. just marvelled at it .

It's a car that has been decatted that has seen an excessive exhaust temp whilst on a rolling road day elsewhere.. thrown in a couple of fault codes and basically given itself automotive hiccups ... Its something we occasionally see on fully decatted 01 cars that have been running at full chat for a sustained period. It's one of the reasons we are persisting with a sports cat on our development car.

take it easy mate

cheers

Hi Paul,

Was also at the same Rolling Road as Stephen on Saturday. I had a ride in Stephens car after his session and was impressed - do you expect your sports cat to offer similar performance to Stephens setup ?

BTW, my graph is here (180K):

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/c.warbu...gRoadgraph.jpg

You may remember it's only got TSL centre, TSL BB + ITG filter fitted, I was happy with the result.

Cheers

Could people please stop praising TSL?

All the "thanks", "great jobs" and "you are the greatest" posts are attracting to many customers and I am finding it harder and harder to be able to get my car booked in to visit them!

Please for me and my tarting/modifying addiction give it a rest!

Of course you would think some people would be allowed to just turn up and get what ever work they wanted done, hang all the other customers!

I feel its important to add that the car had done around 2000 miles
and a rolling road day after the exhaust was fitted at the nothwest dealers before a problem arose.(This seems to have been missed out)
I and many more want to know what was meant by (Marvelled at the fitting)i know the company involved has fitted countless exhuasts and any semi competant spanner monkey can fit an exhaust never mind a fully qualified mechanic.

I'd like to say thanks too. Called up the other morning to get my quickshift fitted and they squeezed me in that afternoon, despite being very busy with a guy from Motec etc. Even got a cuppa. Thanks Graham / Paul and all at TSL.

Steve
