I use it on the PC (how FPS games should be played) been having a blast on it this weekend with it being double XP till tonight.


What level is everyone on? I'm only level 32 I've seen guys on 100+ so far.

I'm at rank 65. One trick I missed until recently was the boosters you unlock with battlepacks (usually available with 200+ kills with the same weapon). Recently I have unlocked several Gold Battlepacks with 200% boosters and ranked up 3-4 times in the same day. They last for 1hr but that is play time i.e. if you start one and finish 10mins later it will pause until you play again which I didn't expect.

Loving it tbh although I have become a TDM Sniper *****. Best round was 41-3 (bearing in mind TDM rounds are 12v12 and first team to 100 kills)!!

Oh and I saw someone on rank 104 like 3 days after PS4 release. Assume they did a lot of work on PS3 which carried over?

Some games were ok but some I found as soon as I spawned i was literally shot got very annoying

did enjoy the tanks though I made profit on the game as I had a unused china rising map pack so swapped for cod and cash my way bonus.

I played the multiplayer of killzone over christmas that was pants didnt like it

looking forward to driveclub if it ever gets released

The thing I like with BF over COD is the squad play aspect. If you get into a good squad there are so many benefits. Spawning on your squads radio beacon is one of them. A lot of times that can allow you to dominate a map. You also get extra points for each spot / motion sensor track / revive / resupply etc. If you have a good mix of assault / recon & support in your 5 man squad then you can really work well. And if you can avoid your entire squad being dead at the same time you can build up your Field Upgrades 4 levels to get extra ammo, grenades, sprint speed every time you spawn. Plus they carry across to the next map. If your squad is top score you get a medal and XP for that as well. I must have nearly 400 ribbons for that. And that is just TDM – for Conquest squad play is even more important. Too many people coming from COD just run and gun and wonder why they get owned.

Personally I have found BF4 the least buggy BF I have played to date. Others were reminiscing about 2142 on the PS4 vs XBONE thread. That was an awesome game at the time but it was buggy as hell. Some days it wouldn’t even launch to the point where I would have to reinstall the game every week or so. I can probably count on two hands how many times BF4 has crashed on me in over a month since release and nearly 100 hours of online play.
